Shared Transfer - 2024/25 Season

This means that you will share the transfer mini-bus with other people who are staying in Morzine. We try to arrange shared transfers for arrivals scheduled to land within a maximum of 60 minutes of each other. We try to combine your transfer with others on the same flight whenever possible. The transfer operators that we use may be picking up other guests who may not be staying with Chilly Powder and may be dropped off first depending on the location. We only use operators coming to the Morzine area. If there is a delay with the flight of the people you are sharing with, you will need to wait for this flight to arrive. If there is a serious delay, we will make our best efforts to get you in with another operator who may have space.

Private Transfer - 2024/25 Season

This means that you and your group will be guaranteed a private vehicle to drive you directly to Chilly Powder. You will not be required to wait at the airport for other passengers and the driver will wait for you if your flight is delayed.

CHILLY POWDER TRANSFERS

 

Most of our guests fly to Geneva and we can arrange for you to be picked up at the airport and you have two different options – a shared transfer or a private transfer. Regardless of which option you choose there will be a driver in the arrivals hall with your name on a card, or waiting at the desk of the transfer company. Please note that all of the transfers we arrange on your behalf are on a return basis unless you tell us otherwise. 

Please ensure that you have read the following information before you complete this booking form. Both adults and children (including babies) are charged at the same price; however there is no extra charge for child seats or boosters.

If your flight is delayed when you reach your departure airport in the UK, we would be very grateful if you could let us know, either by calling 0033 450 747 521 or emailing info@chillypowder.com. This will allow us to re-plan our schedule so that other guests do not wait and your party is re-allocated on to another transfer if possible.

Our suppliers reserve the right to increase prices in the event that fuel prices rise above €2.00 per litre in the local Morzine petrol station.

SHARED TRANSFERS:

If you book a shared transfer, you may have to wait for another family to arrive. We try to arrange shared transfers for arrivals scheduled to land within a maximum of 60 minutes of each other (for flights arriving prior to 09.00am or after 09.00pm waiting times may be longer). We try to combine your transfer with others on the same flight whenever possible. We do not have our own vehicles so we use reputable transfer operators for our transfers. The other passengers you are travelling with may not be staying with Chilly Powder and may be dropped off first depending on the location. We only use operators coming to the Morzine area. If there is a delay with the flight of the passengers you are sharing with, you will need to wait for this flight to arrive as it is extremely difficult to re-arrange the schedules at the last minute. Our transfer service allows us to find the best available shared transfers for you but problems due to delayed flights, exceptional traffic, road closures etc are out of our control. 

ALL TRANSFERS:

If you miss your flight or if your flight is cancelled, you will be charged for the cancelled transfer and if you need us to arrange a new transfer we will make our best efforts to find a suitable transfer to minimise your waiting time, when you arrive. In the event of a transfer cancellation, the cost should be covered on your travel insurance. For your departure transfer leaving the resort, we organise departure times to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight. We allow extra time at certain times of the day and at certain times of the year to allow for heavy traffic. We accept no responsibility for missed flights in the event of unforeseen circumstances or exceptionally heavy traffic and before booking transfers you should make sure your travel insurance fully covers you for missed flights for any reason.

Please note: If your arrival and departure date is not a Saturday it may not be possible to arrange a shared transfer for you, in which case the private rates will apply.

Taxis: You will find taxis outside of the airport, you should agree the price of the journey with the taxi driver before you depart, it is typically around 500€ one way.
